Family Owned and Operated
Transport Technologies, LLC (www.transporttechnologiesllc.com) established in 1997, is a transportation division specializing in hauling metal, waste, demolition, and construction materials by utilizing a fleet of roll-offs, dump trucks, and tractor-trailers.
Introduction of Roll-off Trucks

1997
Established Transport Technologies
As the demand for hauling industrial scrap metal and waste increased, Transport Technologies, LLC, was established by Jeff and Patricia Collins. This division offers both waste and industrial hauling.

2001
Mountain Laurel Environmental
Mountain Laurel was established as a waste disposal and recycling division. The company utilizes 110 acres for waste recycling, waste transfer, and a Class IV Landfill.

2003
Creates Mini-Peterbilt
Mini Peterbilt was introduced at the Greeneville/Greene County Christmas Parade.
2008
Greeneville Iron & Metals
Lyle and Nancy Collins officially retire from Greeneville Iron & Metals, Inc. (established in 1946). Headquarters are moved back to town. All sister companies are headquartered in the same location. To learn more about Greeneville Iron & Metals, Inc. history please visit their webpage.
2011
Scrap Guy
Patented, trademarked, mobile recycling unit known as Scrap Guy was unveiled on May 5, 2011. It's first assignment was disaster relief from the tornadoes in Camp Creek by placing money back into the community. It was designed as a clean and fun way to recycle in each individual community.

Turn Key Demolition Package
By using all three companies together- Greeneville Iron and Metals, Transport Technologies, and Mountain Laurel- we are able to offer a package deal in demolition services.
